Do you take the talking heads at face value? They give us our nightly news and we watch and just assume they tell us the whole story. The sad truth is they do not give us the whole story and most people are too lazy to find out the truth. Here is an example.
Is it really over? Why would ABC report this if its not true? ABC is reporting only one side. The source of the above article is Mr. Knapp and he says its over. But for every guy who says the recession is over there are two that say it is not. You would think they would show you the viewer both sides and let you make up your mind. Instead they show you one and tell you that’s all there is to this story. This is not new, the networks lean in the direction of money like a plant to the sun. There are business deals in the works by the parent companies that make it worth while for the networks to be nice to the current administration. That means you will not see any in depth reporting that could paint our President in a bad light. Why is this story not the lead on 20/20 or 60 minutes? It’s not even the lead on the nightly news. America slides deeper into depression
I am sure most people would rather be clueless to what is really going on in the world but it’s not helping. People watch the news and are told everything is OK and they believe it. The truth is everything is not OK and we the people have work to do. Our government is not the solution to this. The government of the people for the people had become the the government over the people. We the people have been asleep at the wheel and need to wake up. If our people continue to sit on their hands they will get exactly what they asked for.
