We are running out of time… This is our last resort.
In the article above John Holdren said that rockets shooting particles in the air would be used as a last resort. One would guess the “particles” would make up some kind of cloud as the goal is to reduce the heating effect of the sun. This is not a very “green” idea. Maybe John is not aware of the fact that plants among other things need the sun to live?

Surely this is not related to the John Holdren story is it? Something interesting to note is people who saw the rocket launch said they viewed strange lights in the sky. Would reflective particles in the upper atmosphere show un-natural lights to people on the ground as it reflected or refracted the sun’s rays?
